MUSICAL MINDS COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Fostering a love of learning through music education

ABOUT US

Musical Minds Community Outreach is a student-led organization at the University of Toronto St. George Campus. We strive to make music education more accessible to children and youth who may not have the means or opportunity to learn music. Our enthusiasm stems from the understanding that skills fostered through music can have long-term benefits. We partner with families in the community to empower lasting confidence and to create a love of learning in children and youth. We know how much fun it can be to learn an instrument with a positive role model!

PROGRAM

Anchor 3

We offer one-on-one music lessons for piano, guitar, violin, and voice every Saturday and Sunday at the University of Toronto St. George Campus. Lessons begin in October and run until March, and we give all of our students the opportunity to celebrate their hard work and growth with an end-of-year recital.

We enrol children and youth between the ages of 6-13. Please note that space in our program is limited. Should you be able to accommodate your child through professional music lessons, we recommend that you consider this option first. It is our priority to target our program towards children and families who would benefit the most.

You can contact us by clicking the button below or by sending an email to musicalmindsco@gmail.com for any enquiries and to request an application form.

We prioritize promoting dialogue about the importance of arts programming in community development within the University of Toronto and the broader Toronto community. We are always seeking to develop new partnerships with similar organizations or businesses in the city of Toronto to better meet our goals.

If you are a representative from an organization or business interested in community development, music or otherwise, we would love for you to get in touch!
