OUR TEAM

In 2012, our humble program was 4 kids and 4 teachers. During our 2017-2018 year, we've provided lessons to more than 60 youth who work alongside 30 teachers. This amounts to 19 weeks of lessons and 3 recitals! This growth would not be possible without each of our wonderful instructors, who are not only excellent music teachers but also dedicated youth mentors who continually strive to make music education more accessible in our community. Scroll down to learn more about our team!

We are a group of energetic, dedicated youth volunteers from the University of Toronto and the surrounding community who share a passion for music and love working with kids. This team of individuals have all achieved accreditation equivalent to the Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 8 or higher, have formal education in music theory, and have experience working closely with children. Our team's leadership has been recognized by the University of Toronto Office of the Vice-Provost's Arts Engagement Leadership Awards.

We are recognized by Ulife, University of Toronto Students' Union (UTSU) and The Co-Curricular Record (CCR), and we are always recruiting enthusiastic instructors. If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to hear from you!
